About Your Massage Session

To put you at ease and allow you to experience the greatest benefits from your massage session keep the following in mind:

A full body massage is done on a padded table with sheets. Most people undress completely, while others leave some clothing on, such as underwear or a swimsuit. Undress to the extent you feel comfortable. You will be completely covered at all times with a sheet except for the area being worked.

Fractionated Coconut oil will be used during the massage session to lubricate the skin to allow for smooth strokes. You can request that a massage lotion be used, but that request must be made at the time the appointment is made.

Communicate with me before, during and after your massage session to achieve the best possible treatment. Make sure to communicate any areas of the body where you are experiencing pain, tension or have had an injury. In addition, any and all medical conditions must be mentioned.

After Your Massage Session

Allow yourself time after your massage to relax and take a moment for yourself. This will prolong the effects of your massage.

Drink plenty of water after your massage. Massage helps the body naturally eliminate waste materials and drinking extra water helps this process. It also helps to replenish any water lost due to the increase in circulation massage provides.

Schedule regular massage sessions. The effects of massage are cumulative, so the more often a person gets a massage, the better he or she will fell and the more quickly one's body will respond.
